Examples of greatness overcoming adversity.
This list has been used for years as examples of people who have had ADD throughout history. Because the people on this list lived before ADD was officially defined, it is impossible to say for certain that they did indeed have ADD. Their inclusion in this list is based on their lifes history, biographies, and other accounts showing them to have exhibited some of the characteristics or symptoms of ADD.
Alpha Delta Delta cannot state for certain that these people did indeed have ADD. Nobody can. But we are making every effort to list the actual symptoms they exhibited in order to include them on our list. Our references will include research papers, biographies, letters, historical accounts and various credicble internet sources. This is an ongoing research project. Anyone wishing to help out with research please contact us. It could take many years for one person to complete this project, and to hopefully unearth more people and include more demographics than that currently listed. At the very least, these people mentioned here have overcome great odds to create or achieve things that changed the world. Because of them, there is hope for us.
