My ADD Resource Bookshelf
Most of these books on ADD and ADHD I have in my own library and have helped me cope not only with ADHD, but also with life in chaos. Keeping all my focus on learning about ADHD was great at first, but as I became adept at coping with the ADHD, other things began to demand attention and the ADHD books did not go into as much detail about those issues, so I had to take off my hyperfocusing goggles and search for answers in other resources. I am a big fan of workbooks, exercises and games. We parents need to be actively involved in the Alpha Delta Delta's development of coping skills. If we don't get involved, they won't see the importance either and don't get me started about apathy in the school system. Get Involved. Stay Involved. Be your child's Advocate. It is almost guaranteed that no one else will.
